Wow. This was an exceptionally good read.

Be it a celebration, a city plan, or some project, etc. my very favorite memories are those where people produced something together. What I remember most is the feeling of look at us (pride), look what we did (awe) and the satisfaction (full and complete). Working together held people together long after we’d parted ways.

You’re right, people don’t do things in groups anymore. Everything is an individual production. No one wants to share the credit. Everyone wants to be the leader. Everyone wants to be the star. I’m not sure people even know how to work together anymore.
