We were getting close to finishing house number one so my kids put their house on the market. Damn thing sold fast and now they have to be out by month's end. Luckily we'd finished the foundation, walls and roof on my house, so we moved all the tools and building materials down there. We are packing up their house and they will be moved in before time is up. Now I'm looking for a room to rent nearby, so I can work full time on the houses. At this rate, we'll be self-sufficient, debt free and off the grid a year earlier than planned.

I'm reminded that when competing with corporations, my little company's competitive edge was our adaptability, flexibility and creativity.

Like you, we are already Lewis and Clark-ing it. The freedom is positively grand. :)
