Umm, what are you doing up? These hours belong to me. Every morning, I steal these hours just for me. Nobody is up yet. Nobody will call or text me. Nobody will expect anything from me. These are my reading hours, my study time, my mind time and my magic.

I’m an old black and white film fan (1930s to 1950s). Did you ever see the film, Magnificent Obsession? I saw it as a kid and being a kid, I thought everyone had one and started looking for mine. When I told my mother what I was doing, her brows went up, her eyes went wide, and she pointed at my book. It took a second, but lo and behold she was right, I was looking for my Magnificent Obsession in books, only to discover that reading them was my Magnificent Obsession.

That’s the long way of saying, you have made your way into my reading habit.
