This is good advice and I am going to try to remember it when I make comments.

To the whitesplainers, I encourage you to listen as much as you talk. When your response is longer than my original story, I suspect you have your own agenda. When we can’t agree to disagree and move on, I’ll likely move on without you. I don’t insist you leave, as you may provide food for thought, but consider yourself a guest and act accordingly. Good guests are considerate of their hosts and not just themselves.
