The way pod . This is not about the way Donna Mac identified herself. This is about the way these two ushers identified her.
Clearly, all three of these people were strangers. Did the ushers ask Donna Mac to identify herself? No, they did not. The ushers identified a complete stanger as "colored". To them, she was colored. And then they insisted "they" had the right to use any word they pleased, to identity Donna Mac.
This happens to me - a lot. It is extremely insulting when white people identify me as white. White Christians are violent people, who have been murdering my people for more than two thousand years - and I resent anyone who assumes my skin color makes me of one of them.
