The numbers Walter, the numbers don’t support your conclusions.
Roughly 274 million Americans live in urbanized areas and 60 million live in rural areas (which includes 13-million rural children, under age 18). Depending on the state and county, Democrats consistently receive between 27% and 51% of rural votes. Like everywhere else, not all eligible rural voters, vote. At best, rural voters comprise one-third of MAGA voters.
While 25% of Americans live in rural areas, and 25% live in cities, a whopping 50% live in suburbs, exurbs, small towns, or small cities.
All told, 63% of Americans who live in incorporated, self-governed, small cities or towns and tend to vote Democrat - reliably.
The right-wing MAGA extremists are the 37% of Americans who live in UN-incorporated suburbs, exurbs, and rural areas (governed by states and counties).
You can blame rural voters all you want, but I want to know what the f-ck is wrong with suburban and exurban voters? Why are they so angry? Why are they so hateful? Why are they so violent? What the heck is wrong in suburban and exurban areas of this country?
