In one of my daughter's cases, a guy cropped a photo for a logo on a man's shirt. That logo belonged to a union that represents the worst paid workers in the country - and this guy was using it to sell coffee mugs. The attorney's letters to each other kept me in stitches.
I've seen so much copyright infringement on social media, I suspect an ugly backlash is heading our way. If so, being an "influencer" is going to be a really bad thing to be. Public figures operate in a different part of copywrite law and I doubt these self-proclaimed "influencers" have the insurance they need to protect their homes, incomes and savings.
