There’s a challenge going round, round here and Klara Jane Holloway tagged Lucy Socha, who tagged me. Instead of bucket lists, we’re writing our anti-bucket lists, or what KL Simmons called our “phucket” lists. Okay, here goes… What I will never do again…

1. I will never marry again. Maybe love is all that people say it is. But being known by someone, who wants to be known in return is indescribably beautiful. I chose the indescribable beauty, so I cannot know why I will never marry again. All I know is that I won’t.

2. I will never again, let a doctor who can’t diagram female anatomy, anywhere near my vagina.

3. I will never again, think, feel, or believe that abortion has anything to do with pregnancy. Men led medical science for thousands of years and still, didn’t know squat about women. Thanks to the 1965 passage of affirmative action, women entered the field of medical science. In the last 65 years, we’ve learned more about human reproduction and the female body than anyone ever knew before.

If I were dictator for a day, every man, woman and teenager would be required to learn female anatomy and the realities of trying to grow life inside a woman’s body. It is quite literally, a war in there. Think not? See links below…

Rural America is my home. I serve diner, gourmet, seven course, and homecooked thoughts — but spare me chain food served on thoughtless trains of thought.
