Since urban America builds so many huge, high-security prisons in rural areas, the Aryan Brotherhood and other white-supremacist prison gangs move into small, rural towns. They are a huge problem in the enormous desert regions that cover eastern California, Washington, Oregon and western Idaho, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico and the Texas panhandle. In town, and while hiking, hunting, riding, and working, I've run into these white supremacists many times.

Unfortunately, white supremacist, Neo-Nazi and prison gangs use western deserts to fund themselves by making drugs (meth, fentanyl, heroine) and human trafficking. In fact, if immigrants crossing the southern border get caught by these gangs, they are often forced to work in drug labs, as prostitutes and drug carriers.

Gwen, you are right to shout out warning, but in my experience, its like spitting in the wind.
