Same here. I prefer fresh ice. Ice maker ice tastes like freezer burn.

…r appliances or the construction of our antique home, we have never had a fridge with an ice maker. We use ice trays. In 40 years of marriage, Steadfast Mister has never once filled an ice tray. Never.
