Same experience with my kids.

…but kids will fuss about stuff like that once they know about it. I can make an analogy with candy. My youngest son got to know about chocolate, ice cream and candy relatively late. We deliberately didn’t let him taste it for many years. I can promise you that saved us so much trouble that other parents have. Kids are not going to demand thing they don’t even know that they like.

Same experience with my kids. Even now, in their thirties they never drink soda pop, rarely eat anything sweet and water is still their favorite drink.
