Personally, I am attracted to people who are serious thinkers with strong conversation/communication skills (which is an increasingly rare ability). Since meaningful conversations require close and careful listening skills, its no surprise that people with thinking and conversation skills are fluent in all five love languages. They are fluent, because they are able to quiet their own thoughts long enough to hear, process, and respond to what the other person is saying to them. To weave minds, emotions, and bodies together, is a thrilling experience.

One or two love languages are expressed in my other relationships, but the lack of thinking and conversation skills make these relationships feel a bit superficial, even performative.

The sex act is short and predictable. Learning to expand, prolong, and enhance the sex act by engaging the whole being is worthwhile. Of course, not everyone is interested in spending that much time on sex.

Romantic people take love, relationships, and sex to a whole new, other worldly, level. They are rare, but really worth the wait. Pity the romantic with an unimaginative partner. It takes two romantics to tango.
