Now, I’m completely flummoxed. I want clarity here, so I’m going to work this out, out loud, right in front of everyone. Please pile on and get me straightened out.

I begin by re-writing those bullet points the way I think there were intended:

• No race is inherently superior to the white race

• White people are not inherently racist or oppressive.

• White people should be punished just because they are white.

• White people are not inherently responsible for actions committed in the past, or present, by other white people.

• White people cannot and should not attempt to treat others without respect to race.

• White people should not feel discomfort, guilt, anguish, or any other form of psychological distress on account of their race.

I think what happened here is that old “what goes around comes around” story. The internet allowed common folks to enter the national dialog and suddenly white people were terrified they were being stereotyped.

Well, stereotyping is white business! White people earn a fortune manufacturing, promoting and entrenching stereotypes. Think Lee Atwater (Wikipedia that scumbag – and yes, I know the etymology of that term).

Think Christopher Rufo (good one QJ). Anyone who wants to know who owns Rufo, read this (so you don’t need to buy a subscription, here it is in pdf https://msuweb.montclair.edu/~furrg/gned/laphamtentacles04.pdf). I saved you the dime, now I’ll save you the time.

Rufo is owned by billionaires. Back in the 1960s, when Universities backed the Anti-Vietnam and Civil Rights Movement, the billionaires felt personally betrayed. The billionaires were so frigging angry, they decided to build their very own, personally controlled replacement. They called their new intellectual enterprises Think Tanks. Anyone who believes the Conservative Movement was a grassroots movement is as ignorant as hammered owl sh-it. Given billions of free money and strict “purity” tests, the billionaires’ lackies built the Conservative Movement. By the mid-1980s, the lackies, like Lee Atwater, were getting billionaires “preferred” candidates elected. Rufo is just one of the billionaire’s lackies who calls themselves “intellectuals” (oh puke).

Critical Race Theory practitioners aren’t confused, they knew exactly how garbage-in, garbage out systems work to keep racism alive. So how they got lumped in with the ever-absurd DiAngelo trained lackies here is beyond me.

Help. I am confused or just plain ignorant. Either way, help me out.

Rural America is my home. I serve diner, gourmet, seven course, and homecooked thoughts — but spare me chain food served on thoughtless trains of thought.
