Marc, Millennials fought the longest war in American history (aka, the war on terror). No other generation has ever coped with a 20 year long war. Until the War on Terror, no American soldier had ever needed to serve 2, 3, 4 and 5 tours of duty in a row.
No other generation in American history has had to cope with the ever constant slaughter of children in schools, churches, malls, streets, hospitals, neighborhoods and homes.
Young people look at their parents' and grandparents' homes and lifestyles, and know they will never know that kind of comfort or security. Instead, the younger generations have been priced out of food, housing, parenthood, education, healthcare, and dental care.
There is nothing wrong with young people. There is everything wrong with the environment they grew up in. The older generations took everything they could take, and now the young are inheriting the rot, waste, and poverty they left behind.
