It feels like paradise to me. Open country is the only place I've ever felt free. When I was backpacking in China, I felt that same sense of freedom a thousand miles west of Hong Kong. The way that people there treated each other, and me, reminded me of home. Something about natural landscapes, and human nature go hand in hand.
