Instead of "the" president, I've started looking at the presidency. Today, the people a candidate surrounds himself with matters just as much, even more than the candidate.
Today, young people generating creative political and movement talents that I haven't seen since the 1960s when we ended the Vietnam war and passed civil rights legislation - - - and I am really, really, really looking forward to hearing from our future leaders.
I don't think Donald Trump wants to be president again. Right before the 2024 election, I think Trump will make some excuse to withdraw and throw the election into chaos. I think that's how Trump plans to exact his vengeance.
I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. I have no idea what to do to stop him, but I hope people are preparing for that possibility. What would we do if Trump withdrew a few days before the 2024 election? What laws or procedures are in place for such a thing?
