I think young people are telling American politicians that they have no intention of being sent to fight another war, the way prior generations did.

Vietnam ended the draft, and Bush's war on terror seems to have ended a voluntary military as well.

If I'm reading this correctly, the days when politicians could raise an army to fight wars for them, are over.
