I think I understand what you're saying, but Stahl's introduction to that interview, firmly established Marjorie Taylor Greene as a leader and a spokesperson for the entire Republican Party and there is no way the party can get out of it, without denouncing Greene.

Stahl's introduction was so overdone, so hyperbolic, and so obvious, it looked like a set up. But it worked. Greene took the bait, and did not even try to walk back the crown Stahl was laying on her, so I doubt she realized what was happening.

If I'm right, the media will be asking Greene about everything under the sun and whatever Greene says will become the Republican Party line.

I bet McConnell, BIG conservative donors and McCarthy are having conniption fits over that interview.
