I read Steve QJ articles and then, a lot of white conservatives started following him, and like a high school kid, popularity, maybe money, went to his head. I still think he unwittingly dug himself a silo and was in too deep to get himself out. All that corn pouring down on his head trapped him - and now, he's stuck.

Personally, I can't always think straight without help. Whenever I'm exploring an unfamiliar subject, I engage in long conversations with good thinkers. People don't need to know a darn thing about the subject - all I need are good thinkers to help me work it out.

These kinds of conversations often make me feel stupid. But I can't get over the stupid hump without them. They also keep my feet on humble ground, and off the arrogant horse. Which reminds me...

What did you say? "Let's cut the bullshit like rodeo janitorial services" . I object to cutting janitorial services in stalls for humans or horses. My first job was mucking stalls on a horse farm. I worked my way up from horseshit to the backs of extraordinary endurance racers (Arabians of course). My word, I rode over the continental divide on horseback. It was tough and dangerous, but I loved it. Objection submitted and now I'm done.

Rural America is my home. I serve diner, gourmet, seven course, and homecooked thoughts — but spare me chain food served on thoughtless trains of thought.
