I love board games, card games and jigsaw puzzles. Gin rummy is probably my favorite, but I'm fickle, so who knows. I hate scrabble too and for the same reason as you - I lose way too often.

Once upon a time, I loved the ponies, until I loved them too much and had to give them up. Nonetheless, I walked into Churchhill Downs last summer and pony love started rushing through my veins. I felt high.

My kids, now in their 30s, started playing Catan and Risk with their friends. Now they got me playing too. After a couple games, I walk home, wondering how I could enjoy global domination board games so much.

What I really love though is having fun with people I love doing nothing more than being together.
