I like your analogies. I tend to think that way, and you good at finding ones that fits your subjects.
In this piece, I got to: “Instead of giving the money back to you, the bank decides to hold a shareholder meeting, where the shareholders decide how the money will be returned.” - and was silently screaming WTF so loudly, I had to calm myself down to finish reading. I mean, return the money, end of story, no discussion needed – right?
Your finale hit home with a bang: “Now imagine that board meeting lasted 400 years. This is what Black America is facing today.”
