I haven't gotten a solid fix on this just yet, but growers in the California central valley are reporting labor shortages. Inasmuch, as California farmers produce 50-80% of the food every American eats, 3x a day, this labor shortage matters to everyone.

Of course, Americans can always eat corn mush and cream of wheat 3x a day - right?
