I got the worry gene, and yes, it is genetic, don't even try to argue that with me. So there I was worrying about a guy, named David, I've never met, only to discover he was busy with a baby. Slap my head, wake up my brain, and say, see, see, see, not everything is worry worthy.

Sure, you are feeling great, I get that. But do you have any idea, how great your little one feels, when you look at her, hold her and croon to her that way? Why, she is melting into you, pouring her magic into you, and taking your magic back inside herself.

We humans like to think in straight lines, as though everything goes one way or the other, all the way to infinity. Its a silly notion, but we are silly creatures.

They call it the circle of life, because it really is a circle. So don't go getting all selfed up here, cause somewhere along the way, someone looked at you, the way you look at your grandbaby. You are just passing that love along: on and on it goes, round and round the circles of our lives. From time to time, we add and subtract from our circles, and that is how it should be.

From one stranger to another, I am so very glad to know your circle is growing.

Rural America is my home. I serve diner, gourmet, seven course, and homecooked thoughts — but spare me chain food served on thoughtless trains of thought.
