I am reminded of an old story, about three kinds of people in this world.

There are the ENERGIZER BUNNIES who energize every room they enter and leave everyone around them feeling energized, refreshed and fulfilled. When I meet an energizer bunny, I go out of my way to make a new friend.

Then there are the ENERGY VAMPIRES who suck the life out of every room they enter and leave everyone feeling drained, exhausted and defeated. 15-minutes-of-fame people are energy vampires – people who cannot generate their own energy, so they steal it from those who can. Like bats in caves, energy vampires flock together – and are so creepy, they make my skin crawl.

Last but not least, there are the GOPHERS. These people live underground and are afraid of their own shadows, prefer the dark and cannot tolerate attention. Do not worry about them, for they are not sad or unhappy. Let the gophers come out and grab a little food and they will rush back in their holes. But do not follow them, for they live in very tiny worlds.
