Hi Mr. Sabo, its good to find you here. ;)

I've seen and heard about men who take that position, but rarely in my own personal experience. Last week, a grampa in the family was nursing five sick little grandchildren including a six month old infant all by himself. He had so much vomit to clean up and so much crying baby crying he could not put her down. Gramma was on a trip with her girlfriends, parents were at work, but grampa still had time to cut the fixtures we needed and get them to us at the building site.

I nursed my babies, but their father took care of all night feedings - and never needed to wake me up.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect this is a function of rural life where men and women are still accustomed to birthing, nursing, housing, feeding and watering every living creature around them.

Rural America is my home. I serve diner, gourmet, seven course, and homecooked thoughts — but spare me chain food served on thoughtless trains of thought.
