Great piece. You covered a lot of ground here.

The dental Industry spends a fortune on lobbying to maintain such a low supply of dentists they can't meet the demand - which keeps prices artificially high.

"However, 3d printers are giving the dental industry a run for their money. https://www.evansondds.com/how-3d-printing-is-revolutionizing-dentistry/

"Using traditional technologies, a single crown can easily cost a patient $2,000 or more. When 3D printers lower overhead costs by 80 percent, dentists can pass the savings on to their patients."

Replace or repair a damaged tooth: The dentist scans the patient’s mouth with a small digital wand. This creates a 3D image of the teeth and gums, which is saved as a computer file. Computer Aided Design (CAD) software enables the dentist to digitally design the tooth repair and print the finished product on a 3D printer."

IF our current congress can manage to add dental, eye and hearing to Medicare (for old people), that will end the artificially high price of dental care - and force dentists to operate on the demand side of capitalism (bulk prices are far cheaper than designer prices).

Fluorescent white teeth is just a fad. Won't be long before people are having their whitey-whites dyed a nice and healthy yellow tinge.

Again, I've enjoyed reading your work and I thank you for being here.
