Do let us know how your pies turn out - please.

Yesterday, a couple family members stopped by my place. When I told them I was bringing purple sweet potato pie to thanksgiving this year, they got all excited. These people are not adventurous eaters, at all, but they consume everything I make. Being the odd ball cook in our family makes me feel special and that is a really nice feeling.

Hooray for motivation, wherever we may find it.
