Dear Pluralus,

Once again, you are using a cheap stereotype of rural people to make a case against progressives. The last thing we need, or want, is urban dwellers speaking on our behalf. We speak for ourselves and when we don’t, consider our silence speech. Simply put, talking to city people about rural issues is a complete waste of our time.

Your ignorance regarding the negative impact that the Republican Party has had on rural Americans and our communities is downright insulting. You don’t know a darned thing about rural culture, so stop, just stop using us as props for your political views.
