Comrade, you have the nasty habit of conflation. Since the enslavement of white people never happened, you cannot find even one court case, or ruling declaring a white person a slave. Nonetheless, you insist there is no difference between indentured servitude and slavery.

FREEDOM is the difference between slavery and servitude. Indentured servant contracts ended in 5-7 years and white people were set free (and given land, cash, food and/or clothing).

In America, no white skinned child has ever been born a slave - or sold into slavery. No American court has ever been asked to decide if a white person was a slave. Indentured white women were forbidden pregnancy, because their children were born free (not indentured) and had no value to their employer.

In America, only black children were born slaves, sold as slaves and declared slaves by courts of law. For that reason, black enslaved women were forced to bear as many children as possible.

All told it took colonists 125 years to establish a measly 13 colonies. Why? What took so long?

In 1790, two years after the ratification of the Constitution, the number of currently living black slaves (706,514) represented just 7.2 percent of the slaves who would subsequently live in the United States, underscoring the national tragedy of failing to find a compromise to end the institution.

Why? What took so long?

The answer is simple. America was NOT built by white men sitting at desks, or preaching at pulpits and podiums, or writing letters, or reading books or stocking shelves or debating each other.

America was built by human hands and hundreds of billions of hours of back-breaking work, hard physical labour and sheer willpower. Think not? Take a good hard look at early American paintings.

Do you really think the white men wearing stockings, ruffles, wigs, and high-heeled shoes built America? NO, they did not.

The people who built America look like builders – their hands and feet were calloused and knurled, their backs were curved and stooped, their bodies were maimed, scarred and sunburned, their faces were lined with deep cracks, and their clothes were in tatters.

Between 1619 and 1865, black slaves provided more than 410 Billion hours of FREE labor to building this nation. To put that in modern day perspective, that is equivalent to all 1.1-million Amazon employees working 180 years for FREE. Comrade, at 40 hours a week, it would take you 197,115,384 years to contribute that many hours to the American economy.

Rural America is my home. I serve diner, gourmet, seven course, and homecooked thoughts — but spare me chain food served on thoughtless trains of thought.
