Call me Cassandra. It took a while, but Donald Trump has been “normalized.” Trump is not new, he’s not hot, fresh, or exciting anymore. Trump repeats himself so often, everyone has memorized his lines. Trump doubled down too often and overplayed his hand. Everybody knows exactly what Trump will say and do next. Day in day out, it’s the same old, same old, same old thing.

A “normalized” Trump is dull and boring. Temperatures are going down. The chatter is slowing down. The energy is dimming. People are nodding off and losing interest. People have heard the same old things so often they are tuning Trump out. Trump’s rally crowds are shrinking and those that still attend are wearing the same outfits.

Yes, indeed Trump has been “normalized.” Trump doesn’t stand a chance of keeping the excitement going for another six months. He’ll spend so much excitement just getting to November, there won’t be enough excitement left, to get his followers to the polls.

You heard it here first – Donald Trump has been “normalized”. For Donald Trump, becoming “normalized” was the worst thing that could have happened to him.

Rural America is my home. I serve diner, gourmet, seven course, and homecooked thoughts — but spare me chain food served on thoughtless trains of thought.
